Welcome to the USS Eclipse!

Welcome to the USS Eclipse! The Dreadnought Galaxy class is an Explorer and we will explore from the largest nebula to the smallest cell. We will explore everything that is out here. The story is set in the late 24th Century, being a Galaxy Class will give a chance to explore all of the Universe!

If you feel you have what it takes to join the crew of the USS Eclipse feel free. We are here to write and have a good time!

If you are applying for a Department Head position you will be given the rank of a Lieutenant Junior Grade so the bio should include enough for that rank in the department you are applying for. If a part of your biography is deemed classified then the command team may reach out for clarification, it most fit the character and position. If it's not then you will be given the rank of Ensign or equal and given time to update. All assistant Chief Positions will start at as an Ensigns or equal. Exceptions can be made are at the discretion of the Commanding and Executive Officers.

» Ronin Fleet :: Relaunch of USS Samurai

Posted on Tue Jan 2nd, 2018 @ 5:02am by Lieutenant Junior Grade Kira Shiryankin in General News

As of January 22, 2018, Ronin Fleet will authorize the relaunch of the USS Samurai, a Soveriegn Class starship SiMM. The ship will be commanded by
Commodore Deborah Shearer, reprising her role in that position.

ALL other positions are available.

This is an excellent opportunity for players here on the USS Eclipse to create characters and play roles different from what they might usually play.

If you are interested in playing aboard the USS Samurai, please email deborah.shearer.2013@gmail.com.

» Ronin Fleet :: OMJ 5.2.1 and YOU

Posted on Fri Dec 1st, 2017 @ 12:20pm by Lieutenant Junior Grade Kira Shiryankin in Sim Announcement

Greetings to all of you, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas.

I am coming here today to announce a slew of opportunities for additional writing and character development. Ronin Fleet's legal department is known as the Office of Military Justice, or the OMJ, and the fleet's rules are known as the OMJ Code. Most recently, there has been an addition to the OMJ Code that will affect the USS Eclipse by adding "subcommands".

We note that the USS Eclipse also operates the USS Soveriegn, and Starbase 55. Under the newly passed OMJ 5.2.1, the USS Eclipse and her command staff may establish subcommands for each of these SIMMs. This would allow them to be fully staffed with crew, and they can run their own missions, and so on. They would be responsible to the command staff of the USS Eclipse.

What this means, in short language is that if you want to create characters for these SiMMs, please see your CO aboard the USS Eclipse about doing so. OMJ 5.2.1 was passed specifically as a way to encourage players to create new characters and branch out as they wish.

Ronin Fleet values and appreciates each of you.
