» Ronin Fleet :: OMJ 5.2.1 and YOU

Posted on Fri Dec 1st, 2017 @ 12:20pm by Lieutenant Junior Grade Kira Shiryankin in Sim Announcement

Greetings to all of you, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas.

I am coming here today to announce a slew of opportunities for additional writing and character development. Ronin Fleet's legal department is known as the Office of Military Justice, or the OMJ, and the fleet's rules are known as the OMJ Code. Most recently, there has been an addition to the OMJ Code that will affect the USS Eclipse by adding "subcommands".

We note that the USS Eclipse also operates the USS Soveriegn, and Starbase 55. Under the newly passed OMJ 5.2.1, the USS Eclipse and her command staff may establish subcommands for each of these SIMMs. This would allow them to be fully staffed with crew, and they can run their own missions, and so on. They would be responsible to the command staff of the USS Eclipse.

What this means, in short language is that if you want to create characters for these SiMMs, please see your CO aboard the USS Eclipse about doing so. OMJ 5.2.1 was passed specifically as a way to encourage players to create new characters and branch out as they wish.

Ronin Fleet values and appreciates each of you.

Fleet Admiral, Ronin Fleet
